Title-page a bit toned, some faint marginal stains, occasional spots and smudges. Contemporary brown calf, neatly rebacked in a slightly lighter shade with burgundy morocco spine label, edges sprinkled blue, endpapers renewed. Edges worn, corners bumped but a good sound copy overall. Pencilled code to title-page. The work comprises seven lists of geographical names mentioned by poets, categorised as: flumina (rivers or waterways); fontes (sources); lacus (lakes); nemora (forests); paludes (marshes); montes (mountains); gentes (peoples).
