Illustrations in the text, a few coloured. Some sporadic foxing. Contemporary brown morocco neatly rebacked with title, date and plain rules to spine, gilt borders and frames with cornerpieces, gilt dentelles, a.e.g., marbled endpapers. Boards a little scuffed with a scrape at rear, a few light stains, edges a bit rubbed. To front pastedown, monogram bookplate of Samuel Rigby and small bookbinders or -sellers label of Holden, 46 Church St, Liverpool. To ffep, modern bookplate of Robert J. Hayhurst.
