Burmann's edition of Justin the Historian's epitome of Trogus' Liber Historiarum Philippicarum, or Philippic Histories, a lost history of the kings of Macedonia. In his preface, Justin explains his method in collecting the most important passages of that work, parts of which are also preserved in the texts of several other authors including Pliny the Elder.
